CEC BIH: ON MONDAY TEST EU PROJECT FOR INTRODUCTION OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN ELECTION PROCESS IN BIH


SARAJEVO, FEBRUARY 26 (ONASA) – The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with the Delegation of the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Data Exchange Agency (IDDEEA) calls you to inform the start of the project to implement the “Test EU project for the introduction of new technologies in the election process in BiH “funded by the European Union.
The project activities are based on the strategy for improving transparency, integrity and the efficiency of the election process in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The event on which the beginning of the project will be marked will be organized on Monday, February 27, in the Center for Education of the Central Election Commission of BiH, st. Danijela Ozme no.7 in Sarajevo starting at 13.00.
On this occasion, the public will be addressed: Suad Arnautović, President of the Central Election Commission of BiH, Ambassador Johann Sattler, the Head of the European Union to BiH, Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Records and Data Exchange (IDDEEA)
The test project will be carried out on simulated elections at 165 polling stations in 2023 with the use of electronic voters identification and electronic transmission from the polling station according to municipal election commissions and the Central Election Commission of BiH. (end)
