SARAJEVO, MARCH 11 (ONASA) – The FMT FBiH oil info application is available again for Android phones, redesigned and improved with new features.
The version for Huawei and Apple phones should be completed in the coming days.
As they said from the Federal Ministry of Trade, from March 9, a mobile application for monitoring the prices of oil derivatives, which was not working in the previous days, is available to users.
The application contains the prices of petroleum products in the selected locality, ordered from the lowest to the highest. Acknowledging user requests, in the improved version, it is possible to select information on fuel prices for several municipalities at the same time.
The new version of the app provides more information about gas stations such as having electric vehicle chargers, car washes, truck parking, children’s play areas, and the like. The working hours of the pumps for each day of the week have also been entered. Users of the application are provided with a map to the selected gas station.
The form for reporting irregularities in the stated price on the fiscal account and notification of price changes and other irregularities has also been simplified.
“The mobile application, which downloads data from the aforementioned eOPC application in real time, enables all citizens to have comprehensive and timely information on fuel prices at gas stations in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said the ministry.
The earlier application could not support the version for Huawei phones, and the improved version gives the possibility to use it to users of these phones as well. The redesigned application also introduced a dark mode that saves battery.
“Using this application, consumers have relevant information for shopping at the lowest prices in the offered current range and thus exercise their autonomous right of choice in the most efficient way, i.e. savings when purchasing. The project of the Federal Ministry of Trade eOPC.fmt.gov.ba enables the promotion of market competition in the field retailing of petroleum products in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, facilitates the work of control bodies and the protection of the rights and interests of consumers,” the federal ministry said.
