CHAIRMAN DELEGATION OF PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY BIH IN PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY COUNCIL OF EUROPE MAGAZINOVIĆ TALKED WITH AMBASSADOR OF SWISS CONFEDERATION IN BIH HUNN



SARAJEVO, MARCH 11 (ONASA) – Saša Magazinović, Chairman of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH) to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PSVE) and Chairman of the Club of SDP Deputies in the House of Representatives of the PSBiH, received the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Bosnia and Herzegovina Daniel Hunn.
Magazinović and Hunn exchanged opinions on the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina with an emphasis on the process of European integration, as well as on current processes in PSVE.
Magazinović thanked Ambassador Hunn for the fact that he recognized the work of the PSBiH delegation in PSVE, and expressed his readiness for more intensive cooperation with colleagues from Switzerland. When it comes to the current political moment in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Magazinović pointed out that, regardless of internal political differences on certain issues, a lot of work has been done in the past period, stressing that, compared to the entire previous mandate, this progress has been made in a little more than a year, he can rate it highly. He added that, because of all this, the decision to open negotiations with the European Union is welcomed in a much better atmosphere than it was earlier when important decisions for Bosnia and Herzegovina were awaited, many of which were a reward for our country, which they were not behind stood our results.
Ambassador Hunn emphasized Switzerland’s unquestionable support for the integration process in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the implementation of reforms along the way.
He assessed that the Swiss model cannot simply be transferred to other countries, but that numerous positive experiences can be used in other countries as well, especially the common will of different cultures to work together and the willingness to compromise, especially when it comes to minorities.
