ANKARA, MARCH 2 (ONASA) – The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina attended a working breakfast with the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
– During the friendly conversation, which lasted more than an hour, they discussed the continuation of the improvement of bilateral and economic cooperation, with an emphasis on future trilateral meetings in the region. The interlocutors also discussed various events in the world with a focus on current conflicts and human rights violations, stated the Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Željko Komšić.
– At the beginning of the conversation, I expressed my gratitude to President Erdoğan for his warm hospitality and the respect shown to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the meeting, I said that it is very important for Bosnia and Herzegovina to continue deepening political, economic and other ties with the Republic of Türkiye. I expressed my respect to President Erdoğan for the overall assistance to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I especially pointed out that it is important for our country to join the NATO alliance as soon as possible and to be in this alliance together with the Republic of Türkiye, said the member of the presidency dr. Denis Bećirović.
– President Erdoğan’s messages are encouraging for all citizens and peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially his words that we should work on consolidating peace and stability, economic projects and strengthening the state institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which should be functional and efficient, he added.
