KONJIC, FEBRUARY 13 (ONASA) – Ambassador of the Republic of France to Bosnia and Herzegovina François Delmas and his associates visited Konjic yesterday, where he met with Mayor Osman Ćatić, who during the meeting presented the achieved results of Konjic City Administration in various fields of activity.
– When I took office in Bosnia and Herzegovina a few months ago, it was important for me to visit Konjic, a noteworthy and very dynamic city, to talk with the mayor, with representatives of local companies and to get to know this important community better, which obviously has great potential.
This is my first visit to Konjic and I am impressed by the City’s efforts in terms of tourism and energy transition, which are areas in which opportunities for cooperation with French partners should be explored. That’s why it was important for me to talk to local actors.
The role of the embassy is to expand the ties between Bosnia and Herzegovina and France, as well as to accompany Bosnia and Herzegovina on its European journey – said Ambassador François Delmas.
– The cooperation we had with Ambassador Toudic is continuing with Ambassador Delmas and I am extremely glad that there is interest in what we do in the field of economic integration and creating opportunities for economic growth and development based on the principles of sustainability with the use of renewable energy sources.
I hope that such meetings will contribute to the creation and realization of joint activities, when it comes to the economy and education – said the mayor of Konjic, Osman Ćatić, thanking the ambassador for his visit to Konjic.
