SABINA ĆUDIĆ APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT OF EUROPEAN LIBERALS IN COUNCIL OF EUROPE

SARAJEVO, JANUARY 22 (ONASA) – Today in Strasbourg, Sabina Ćudić was appointed as the vice-president of European liberals in the Council of Europe, it was announced from Naša Stranka.
“I am extremely pleased that my work within the Council of Europe and the European Liberals, after less than a year, was recognized at that level, and that I was invited and encouraged to run for the leadership of the Liberals in the Council of Europe, where I received unanimous support together with the other members of the new leadership . A progressive voice from Bosnia and Herzegovina in international institutions is extremely important for our country at this moment. And my election today as vice president is proof that European liberals, as before, stand strongly by BiH. I am satisfied that the European liberals have also won the chairmanship position in the Political Committee of the Council of Europe and that we continue the fight, among other things, against ultra-right tendencies in the member countries. I also received support to continue my mandate in the extremely important Monitoring Committee, delegated on behalf of the European Liberals, as the only member from Bosnia and Herzegovina in this, for our country, extremely important working body that sits behind closed doors. In cooperation with the leadership of the liberals, I will continue to lobby even more strongly for Bosnia and Herzegovina, said Sabina Ćudić, who in April last year became a deputy in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and is the first member of the European Liberals from BiH in that institution.
