HJSC BIH APPOINTED JUDICIAL OFFICERS



SARAJEVO, MARCH 23 (ONASA) – During the second day of the session, which will be held on March 22 and March 23, 2023 in Sarajevo, the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJSC BiH) made a decision on the appointment of holders of judicial positions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the level of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dantes Samardžić was appointed to the position of judge of the Municipal Court in Bihać, Kanita Kukić to the position of judge of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, Anja Laštro to the position of judge of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, Lejla Hadžimahmutović to the position of judge of the Municipal Court court in Zenica;
Edna Mujkanović, to the position of judge of the Municipal Court in Zenica and Admir Saletović, to the position of judge of the Municipal Court in Zenica.
At the level of Republika Srpska, the following were appointed: Dijana Stevanović, to the position of judge of the Basic Court in Bijeljina; Nebojša Vrhovac, to the position of judge of the Basic Court in Prnjavor; Bojan Dobrnjac, to the position of judge of the Basic Court in Kotor Varoš and Darko Mijatović, to the position of judge of the Basic Court in Vlasenica.
At the level of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dijana Azapagić was appointed to the position of prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
When making the Decision on appointment, the HJSC BiH took into account criteria such as: professional knowledge, work experience and work results; professional skills based on past career results; the ability to impartially, conscientiously, diligently, decisively and responsibly perform duties within the scope of the position for which he is applying; relations with work colleagues, behavior outside work, professional impartiality and reputation.
When appointing, the HJSC BiH applies the corresponding constitutional provisions regulating equal rights and representation of constituent nations and others, and respects equal representation of the sexes.
The newly appointed holders of judicial office will take office on April 10, 2023.
