EMBASSY OF REPUBLIC OF FRANCE PRESENTS VALUABLE DONATION TO FEDERAL POLICE ADMINISTRATION



SARAJEVO, FEBRUARY 8 (ONASA) – In the premises of the Center for Forensic Examinations, Expertises and Research, the donation of the “Shooting tunnel” grain capture device was handed over as part of the “EVOFINDER” program.
The aforementioned donation is part of the support to the Federal Police Administration as part of the process of implementing the plan for a permanent solution to the fight against the illegal possession, abuse and trade of firearms and small arms and ammunition in the Western Balkans until 2024.
The donation was presented to the Head of the Center for Forensic Examinations, Expertises and Research, Mr. Mladen Milosavljević, by the Ambassador of France in Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Christine Toudic, who was accompanied by Lt. Col. Pascal Seurre, advisor for SALW with the office in Belgrade, and Attaché for Internal Security at the Embassy of France in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Col. Philippe Gangloff of the National Gendarmerie.
During the conversation, which was attended by the Head of the Center, Bruno Franjić, Head of the Department for Ballistic and Mechanoscopic Expertise, the delegation was presented with the work of the Center, which is also the first forensic institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a full member of ENFI, accredited by the state Institute for accreditation (BATA) in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After the handover of the donation, the Ambassador, together with the rest of the delegation, in addition to the laboratory of the Department for Ballistic and Mechanoscopic Expertise, also visited all other Departments within the Center, where she got acquainted with the work, problems and other challenges of all laboratories in the Center, on which occasion she expressed her readiness in the form of support and other help within their capabilities.
