AMBASSADOR OF QATAR TO BIH MUBARAK KLEEFICK KHALED AL – HAJRI VISITS ONASA AGENCY
SARAJEVO, November 9 (ONASA) – General Manager of the Independent News Agency ONASA Elvira Begovic received today in the Agency’s headquarters in Sarajevo, the Ambassador of Qatar to BiH Mubarak Kleefick Khaled Al-Hajri, whom she informed about the work of this Agency.
During the conversation, general manager Begovic said that the Independent News Agency ONASA was founded 16 years ago, in 1994 in Sarajevo, and is today one of the leading independent news agencies in BiH and the region.
She stressed that the mission of the Agency is a continual contribution to the development of true, independent and professional information in an advanced, European-oriented, multicultural and multiethnic BiH, with the aim of expanding its network outside of BiH too.
“After the visit and meeting with you and talks with several journalists, I express my satisfaction with the way in which the Agency works as well as with the proficiency of its journalists, emphasizing the importance of independent journalism in which the news have to be unbiased and unprejudiced and source of independent information, because only such news can be trusted. I would also like to underline significance of continuous contribution of ONASA News Agency to development and spreading of professional information in BiH”, Ambassador of Qatar to BiH Mubarak Kleefick Khaled Al-Hajri, pointed out.
During the visit, Ambassador of Qatar visited the premises and spoke with employees of the Agency.
