SARAJEVO, MAY 7 (ONASA) – In the next two weeks, the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be able to see increased movement of EUFOR vehicles on roads and railways throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
These activities are related to the return of EUFOR’s strategic reserve forces, and their added elements, from Bosnia and Herzegovina to France, Italy and Romania.
Elements of the EUFOR reserve forces are regularly deployed in Bosnia and Herzegovina for training (for example, for the annual “Quick Response” exercise).
“This reserve force rotation system additionally strengthens EUFOR’s efforts to provide support to the BiH authorities in maintaining a safe and stable environment, as well as combined training with the BiH Armed Forces,” EUFOR states. (end)
