IDDEEA: MUNICIPALITIES BOYCOTT DIGITAL SOLUTIONS AND CITIZENS SUFFER BECAUSE OF PAPER

SARAJEVO, MAY 6 (ONASA) – IDDEEA today invited competent institutions to electronic data exchange in order to facilitate administrative procedures for the citizens of BiH
“Dear representatives of municipalities, cities, banks and all authorities responsible for access to information about the residence of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
We would like to inform you about an important initiative of the Agency for Identification Documents, Records and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA BiH), which aims to significantly facilitate processes and services for citizens.
IDDEEA implemented electronic web services and enabled electronic data exchange to avoid long waits and the need to print CIPS certificates.
Until now, we have noticed that many citizens are waiting in lines at the counters of MUPs all over the country to get a printed CIPS certificate, and we realized that this is an inefficient process for all of us.
That is why we emphasize again that it is no longer necessary to ask citizens for a printed CIPS certificate.
Instead, IDDEEA invites all authorities, municipalities, cities, banks and other institutions to submit a request for access to our electronic web services.
IDDEEA will provide you with free support and enable the electronic exchange of information about citizens’ residence through secure and efficient digital channels.
This way, you will be able to electronically determine the place of residence of each citizen without the need for physical delivery of printed certificates.
We would like to remind you that a large number of authorities have already successfully completed this procedure and switched to the electronic system, thereby significantly facilitating access to services for their citizens. However, there is still a large number of those who have not submitted a request for access to IDDEEA’s web services and thus still require printed certificates from citizens.
We invite you to join this effort in order to improve the quality of services and the efficiency of administrative processes for the benefit of our citizens. Please change your internal procedures and switch to an electronic way of determining residence information.
For all information and assistance regarding the implementation of electronic web services, feel free to contact IDDEEA. Our goal is to make life easier for the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina together, IDDEEA announced.
