SARAJEVO, MAY 4 (ONASA) – In accordance with the Law on MIO/PIO, the payment of pensions for the month of April begins today, May 4, the Federal Institute of MIO/PIO announced.
In accordance with the decision of the Management Board of the FZ MIO/PIO, on the final amount of regular adjustment of 6.55%, the lowest pension for the month of April is 573.56 BAM, guaranteed 684.48 BAM, while the highest pension, realized according to the Law on MIO/ PIO (Official Gazette 13/18) is limited to the amount of the five lowest pensions and amounts to 2,867.65 BAM.
The average pension of independent pension beneficiaries, of whom 364,560 are being paid for April, amounts to 722.21 BAM.
A total of 446,315 beneficiaries will receive their pension for April.
In addition to the increased pensions for April, users will also receive the difference for the first three months between the amount paid and the amount of pensions according to the final adjustment decision.
The total funds required for the payment of pensions for April, including the differences for the first three months and the costs of payment, amount to about 305 million BAM, according to the announcement. (end)
