SARAJEVO, APRIL 27 (ONASA) – The Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH) Kemal Ademović and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PSBiH Dr. Denis Zvizdić met in Istanbul with the President of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey Numan Kurtulmuş and congratulated them on everything that the Republic of Turkey is doing within the framework of its progressive vision “Century of Turkey”.
During the conversation, the interlocutors informed Kurtulmuş about the current situation in the country and thanked the Republic of Turkey for co-sponsoring the Resolution on the Srebrenica genocide, which will be voted on in May this year at the United Nations General Assembly, when July 11 is expected to be declared the International Day of Remembrance. to the genocide in Srebrenica, which will be commemorated every year.
They agreed that the peace and stability of the country are of the utmost importance and that, in addition to strong support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity and multi-ethnicity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey provides strong support to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its way to European and NATO integration. They also said that overall bilateral relations between the two countries are extremely good and that there is room for improvement, especially in the field of economy and investments. They invited Kurtulmuş to visit PSBiH with the delegation of the Turkish Parliament.
Chairman of the PSBiH House of Peoples Kemal Ademović, deputy chairman of the PSBiH House of Representatives Dr. Denis Zvizdić and member of the PSBiH Friendship Group for Africa and the Middle East Safet Softić are participating in the Fifth Annual Conference of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds (Jerusalem), which is being held in Istanbul.
The conference, which is held under the auspices of the President of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey Numan Kurtulmuş and with the presence of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, gathered around 700 parliamentarians from all over the world who are discussing the topic of “Freedom and Independence of Palestine”.
