FROM MAY 1, IT WILL BE EASIER TO GET PENSION IN FBIH

SARAJEVO, APRIL 26 (ONASA) – The Federal Institute for Pension and Disability Insurance announced today that as of May 1, all applicants for the exercise of rights from pension and disability insurance and the issuance of certificates and certificates of information about which official records are kept, will not be obliged to attach a certificate of residence – CIPS certificate, birth certificate and certificate of citizenship to the application.
Following the initiative of the Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, the Federal Institute for Pension and Disability Insurance intensified cooperation with IDDEEA and developed an application solution through which it has access to data from the records maintained by IDDEEA on behalf of the original authorities, while respecting all security elements related to the protection of personal data, with the important note that the inspection itself is performed after the previously obtained consent of the applicant himself.
Also, considering the fact that data concerning the employment relationship of the insured person is kept in the official register of the insured person, starting from May 1, it will not be necessary to submit a decision on the termination of the employment relationship with the request (exception for insured police officers and military insured persons of the Ministry of Defense BiH).
“All of the above is the result of a series of activities undertaken by the management of the Federal Institute, all with the aim of improving operations and facilitating access to exercising rights from pension and disability insurance through simplifying procedures and speeding up the process of exercising all rights, increasing the transparency of work, opening the Institute to end users, as part of the struggle for paperless administration and waiting in lines,” the Federal Institute of MIO/PIO states.
