BANJALUKA, APRIL 22 (ONASA) – Just like last year, together with fellow citizens and numerous visitors, today, April 22, Banja Luka will celebrate City Day with a big cake and a spectacular program. The program starts at 18:00 in Park “Mladen Stojanović”, along with the biggest cake, which is prepared by Banja Luka chefs in cooperation with the City of Banja Luka and “Kuhinjica”.
All those present can expect an interesting and entertaining program, which will be provided by the excellent City Tambura Orchestra.
Everyone is invited to the spectacular celebration of the Day of our city.
The City Day commemoration program will continue in the days ahead. Namely, on Wednesday, April 24, the commemoration program will begin with a tribute to our heroes, and it is planned to lay wreaths at four city locations.
The central laying of wreaths at the Memorial to the Fallen Fighters of NOR – and on the Square of the Fallen Fighters is scheduled for 12:00.
Representatives of the City of Banja Luka will lay wreaths at 9:00 and pay tribute to the victims of the High Traitor Process at the Sveti Pantelija cemetery, at 10:00 they plan to lay wreaths at the Monument to the Fallen Krajišniki, while at 11:00 wreaths will also be laid at the 12 Babies Monument in the city center.
In honor of the Day of our city, in addition to the traditional reception for delegations, a formal academy will be held on April 24 in the “Borik” Sports Hall. (end)
