SARAJEVO, APRIL 18 (ONASA) – The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, among other things, at today’s session received information on the review, control and audit of the financial statements of political parties for 2021, with the findings of the audit and the Report on the reviewed the state of financial operations of political parties in 2021, as well as information on planned and disbursed funds to political entities in 2023 from the budgets of all levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina will, in accordance with the Law on the Financing of Political Parties, initiate proceedings against 47 political parties for which, through the review and audit of their financial statements, it was established that there is a well-founded suspicion that they violated the provisions of the Law on the Financing of Political Parties in 2021 .
The aforementioned reports on the audit of political parties, with the audit findings and the auditor’s opinion, will be published on the website www.izbori.ba, and the auditor’s opinion in the Official Gazette of BiH.
– According to data collected from competent authorities and institutions at all levels in Bosnia and Herzegovina, funds in the amount of 20,996,233.43 BAM are planned for the financing of political subjects in 2023. Of the planned amount, 96.65 percent was paid, that is, BAM 20,293,347.55 was paid to political entities – it is stated.
The information does not contain data on payments of funds to political entities from the budget of the Central Bosnia Canton, Breza Municipality and Kalinovik Municipality because they have not yet submitted them.
– The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina will also, on its website, publish data on planned and disbursed funds to political subjects in 2023 from the budgets of all levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the exception of the Central Bosnia Canton, the Municipality of Breza and the Municipality of Kalinovik – announced the Office for informing the CEC of BiH.
