HUNGARIAN PRIME MINISTER ORBAN: ORDER OF EXPRESSION OF FRIENDSHIP AND LOVE

BANJALUKA, APRIL 5 (ONASA) – Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said today that the award he received in Banja Luka is an expression of friendship and love between friends.
“Dear Milorad, ladies and gentlemen, decorations are mostly a sign of respect. Of course, this is also a sign of respect for me, but it is even more something, as my friend Milorad said a few minutes ago, that it is also an expression of friendship and love between friends”, Orban said after the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik handed him the highest decoration of Srpska – the Order of the Republic of Srpska on a necklace.
He pointed out that he does not consider it just a state act, but that there is emotion and trust in it, as optimism in relation to the common future. Orban said that he has been observing Serbs for a long time and that he remembers what it was like to be a Serb during the former Yugoslavia.
He pointed out that he respects the way in which Serbs search for and find their place in modern times.
“Serbs and Hungarians are neighbors wherever they live, because even though our countries are not neighbors, our peoples are,” said Orban.
He pointed out that he always supported the Serbs because he was convinced that the international policy was unfair towards them.
Orbán said that Europe needs Serbs and that without their inclusion there is no healthy EU, no security and stability.
Orban, after being presented with the Order of Republika Srpska on a necklace, stated that the situation in the EU is not the best, but that it is the framework in which the Serbian and Hungarian people can progress best.
He believes that EU expansion should go south and then east.
