BANJALUKA, MARCH 29 (ONASA) – Late last night, almost three hours after midnight, representatives in the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska adopted the Draft Election Law of the RS, reports Oslobođenje.
The 12th special session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska began after midnight, and it was held at the request of the deputies, in accordance with Article 170, paragraph 1 and Article 171 of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly.
In the end, they adopted the Draft by a majority of votes, but now it is necessary to carry out a public discussion and other procedures so that it comes in the form of a proposal to the NSRS session and is finally adopted.
This sudden decision, which was made without much discussion and conversation, was made because High Representative Christian Schmidt imposed technical changes to the Election Law. The session, like the previous one, took place in great tension and nervousness, first of all the President of the RS Milorad Dodik, who cursed and insulted the opposition representatives.
