An effective fight against corruption and organized crime requires a comprehensive approach and strategies that include confiscation of income and profits derived from these acts or intended for their execution.
An inevitable step in achieving this goal is the capacity to manage assets subject to confiscation. An exceptional contribution to the strengthening of these capacities is the exchange of experiences and international cooperation achieved by jurisdictions in this area.
“This visit represents another step towards strengthening regional and international partnerships in the fight against illegal activities, and represents the basis for the next steps in strengthening the capacity of the Federal Agency for the Management of Confiscated Property and more efficient management of confiscated property,” said Bašić.
