MACRON TOLD NETANYAHU: ANY FORCED TRANSFER OF POPULATION FROM RAFAH WOULD BE WAR CRIME

PARIS. MARCH 25 (ONASA) – In a telephone conversation between the two leaders, Macron also “condemned in the strongest terms” Israel’s announcement on Friday to seize 800 hectares of land in the occupied West Bank for new settlements, his office said.
Macron also reiterated his opposition to any Israeli military operation to fight Hamas in Rafah, where most of Gaza’s population has taken refuge after months of fierce fighting in the besieged territory.
In the call, Macron told Netanyahu he intended to present a draft resolution to the UN Security Council calling for an “immediate and permanent ceasefire”.
He called on Israel to immediately open the border crossings in Gaza.
