She said that mutual determination and effort resulted in achieving the necessary level of compliance with the requirements and criteria set by the European Union.
“We are aware that any progress in Bosnia and Herzegovina largely depends on the strengthening and improvement of mutual trust, internal dialogue and consensus of the legitimate political representatives of the constituent nations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the time ahead, we remain clearly and unequivocally committed to the values and goals on which the European Union is based, and committed to further strengthening regional cooperation within the framework of existing initiatives based on the principles of good neighborliness, strengthening political dialogue, peace and stability in the region,” the chairwoman emphasized in her letter.
She said that she was personally satisfied but also proud of the fact that in this exhaustive and demanding process of implementing necessary and necessary reforms, we managed to preserve 100% compliance with the EU’s foreign and security policy. She emphasized that in the following days the focus will be on the adoption of the remaining legal proposals and other obligations.
The chairperson said that among the key obligations, she would like to highlight the law on the court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the law on the protection of personal data, which are technically ready for adoption, as well as the amendments to the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina which, on this key date for our country, , officially submitted to the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina for further procedure.
At the end of the letter, the chairperson expressed her belief that the EU will continue to provide full support for compromises and solutions that are solely the result of the work of competent institutions in BiH, and with determination for an equally successful continuation of joint cooperation.
