SARAJEVO, JANUARY 25 (ONASA) – Minister of Finance of Sarajevo Canton, Ph.D. Afan Kalamujić held a working meeting with Adnan Jašarević, director of the Cantonal Agency for Attracting Investments and Privatization and his team.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton.
Minister Kalamujić pointed out that the Cantonal Agency for Attracting Investments in Sarajevo plays a key role in stimulating economic activity and attracting foreign and domestic investments.
It supports entrepreneurs, facilitates the business environment and contributes to the development of the local economy, creating jobs and encouraging innovation.
The meeting also discussed the introduction of the Agency to treasury operations, which, as pointed out, would greatly facilitate their operations, and enable the Ministry to more easily manage a significant portion of income for capital projects, while ensuring transparency, responsible spending of funds, and stimulating local economic activity.
This can improve the financial stability of the Canton and create a more favorable environment for investors.
Also, one of the topics of the meeting was the management of the assets of the Canton of Sarajevo, and good practices. It was agreed to intensify cooperation in this regard.
“I am continuing with what I promised, which is a better and more transparent management of public property,” Minister Kalamujić said, according to the KS.
