SARAJEVO, APRIL 1 (ONASA) – At the session of the Presidency of the Sarajevo SDP, which was held today, conclusions were reached on the current political situation in the country, as well as on the pressures faced by the leadership of the SDP, emphasizing the importance of joint action and support in a time of difficult decisions and an even more difficult struggle for the interests of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Sarajevo SDP provides full support to the President of the SDP BiH, Nermin Nikšić, in the process of forming the FBiH Government and strongly condemns the threats addressed to him, demanding urgent action by the competent authorities.
We also provide full support for the work of all appointed and elected officials at the state, federal and cantonal levels of government, with the hope that they will work even better and more efficiently in the interest of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
We invite all our colleagues, regardless of what level of government they operate, to show the strength of unity and support for the process of forming the government at the FBiH level led by SDP BiH, so that the process will finally end in the best interest of our country.
On the other hand, we remind all our elected officials to abide by the decisions made in the party bodies and to act in accordance with them.
In the end, the Sarajevo SDP remains consistent with its principles and actions, and we will never allow the interests of individuals to be above the interests of the state.
It is a shame that those who destroy every perspective of life in this country, who destroy the dignity of workers and pensioners, who take away every perspective from young people, are now creating obstructions. They are only concerned about their seats and privileges. In order to preserve them, they are ready to cause chaos and violence. We won’t let them do that.
