BANJA LUKA – ŠAROVIĆ: SERBIAN UNITY CANNOT BE MADE IN THIS WAY

Mirko Šarović
BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 3 (ONASA) – All earlier great promises of Milorad Dodik on the independence of Republika Srpska, abolition of the Court and Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and many others, ended by being left in a drawer immediately after the elections, said SDS President Mirko Šarović, adding that Dodik deceived the citizens of Republika Srpska ten times in this way.
“Are there people who can believe that this will be realized for the eleventh time now”, Šarović asked.
Šarović believes that there are “enough reasonable people who will understand what this is about.”
“Dodik is now deceiving the public by claiming that he will transfer competencies to Republika Srpska, but with a postponed deadline of six months. He needs those six months just the time to come when the election campaign begins, in order to try to win over voters with the help of major political issues”, he explained.
He also stated that Dodik wants as big a crisis as possible and that he manages it, and “everything in order to get a new mandate”, but in this way, warns Šarović, “he is endangering the entire Republika Srpska”.
The president of the SDS thinks that the way in which the SNSD imagined the creation of Serbian unity on important issues is unacceptable.
“They see Serbian unity from the SNSD by making decisions, and we just need to join those positions that they have already adopted. With Dodik and the government, as they are, that unity is practically impossible to achieve. I think that Dodik goes from stupidity to stupidity, he drags us into everything and we are in a big problem thanks to him. Now we should save him through some unity”, said Šarović and said that true state unity is achieved only by consensus of all including the opposition, but an opposition that is an equal partner. (end)
