SARAJEVO, APRIL 12 (ONASA) – The board of the ONASA Agency, at this year’s first formal session, awarded the prestigious award “EDITOR OF THE YEAR 2022” to BERIN EKMEČIĆ, and the award “JOURNALIST OF THE YEAR 2022” went to AMRUDIN GADŽO for exceptional results in the field of information, while the award “CORRESPONDENT OF THE YEAR 2022” went to MILICA OKILJ.
According to the Board’s decision, the award “EDITOR OF THE YEAR 2022” was awarded to Berin Ekmečić for exceptional editorial engagement.
Berin Ekmečić was born on June 6, 1961 in Sarajevo, and has been a journalist since 1983.
He studied journalism at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo.
He worked as a journalist, editor and editor-in-chief in several editorial offices of daily newspapers and magazines in Sarajevo, and has been with the ONASA Agency since 2016.
He took part in the implementation of the VIP interview project, selflessly shared knowledge with young associates, regularly actively participated in the work of the Agency’s professional course.
During 2022, he participated in numerous conferences, round tables and represented ONASA Agency at formal receptions.
According to the Board’s decision, the award “JOURNALIST OF THE YEAR 2022” was awarded to Amrudin Gadža for exceptional journalistic involvement.
Amrudin Gadžo was born on April 28, 1997 in Goražde.
He graduated from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics of the University of Sarajevo in 2022.
He worked at Logosoft and IPSOS BH agency.
He started working at the Independent News Agency ONASA in 2018.
During 2022, he successfully performed all journalistic duties.
According to the Board’s decision, the “2022 CORRESPONDENT OF THE YEAR” recognition was awarded to Milica Okilj for exceptional journalistic engagement.
Milica Okilj was born on August 31, 1993 in Drvar.
She is a 4th year graduate student in journalism and communication studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Banja Luka.
During 2022, she successfully performed all journalistic duties.
She reported on the work of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, and on all important events from the Banja Luka area.
She has been working at the ONASA Agency since 2016.
General Director of ONASA Agency Elvira Begović congratulated the winners of the prestigious awards Berin Ekmečić, Amrudin Gadžo and Milica Okilj and wished them continued successful work in 2023.
The ONASA agency traditionally awards awards to the editor, journalist and correspondent of the year, according to precisely established criteria.
Traditional recognition for “EDITOR 2008” was awarded to Branislava Memon, head of the ONASA Agency Branch in Banja Luka, and the winner of the award “JOURNALIST OF 2008” was Kerim Zvizdić, a journalist in the General Service.
Award for “EDITOR 2009.” was awarded to the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the ONASA Agency, Ulvija Ramusović, “JOURNALIST 2009.” was Olga Lola Ninković, a journalist of the ONASA Agency Branch in Banja Luka, and Alisa Ćorić from Mostar was the “2009 CORRESPONDENT”.
“EDITOR 2010” was Enis Ljubović, editor of the English service of the ONASA Agency.
“JOURNALIST OF 2010” award went to General Service journalist Marija Augustinović, and the award “CORRESPONDENT OF 2010” went to Božica Radić from Prijedor.
Belma Tabaković, editor of the Business Service of the ONASA Agency, was declared “EDITOR OF 2011” by the Board of the ONASA Agency, Kerim Zvizdić, a journalist of the General Service of the ONASA Agency, received the “JOURNALIST OF 2011” award, and “CORRESPONDENT OF 2011” was awarded to Obren Kisić, ONASA correspondent from Bugojno.
The award “EDITOR OF 2012” was awarded to Dževad Ćeska, editor of the General Service of the ONASA Agency, the award of “JOURNALIST OF 2012” to Ljiljana Skokić, journalist of the Business Service of the ONASA Agency, and the award “CORRESPONDENT OF 2012” to Sanja Stević, correspondent of ONASA Agency from Zenica .
The award “EDITOR of 2013” was awarded to Asim Čelebić, editor of the Election Service of ONASA Agency, the award “JOURNALIST OF 2013” was awarded to Delvin Kovač, journalist of the General Service of ONASA Agency, and the award “CORRESPONDENT of 2013” was awarded to Marko Draganić, correspondent of ONASA Agency from Brčko District.
The award “EDITOR OF 2014” was awarded to Ulvija Ramusović, the award “JOURNALIST 2014” was awarded to Ajsela Zahirović, journalist from the General Service of ONASA Agency, and the award “CORRESPONDENT 2014” was awarded to Biljana Žujić, journalist of the Branch of ONASA Agency in Banja Luka.
According to the Board’s decision, the award “EDITOR OF 2015” was awarded to Ulvija Ramusović, and the award “JOURNALIST OF 2015” was awarded to Tarik Mićević, and the award “CORRESPONDENT OF 2015” was awarded to Dragana Pemac, head of the ONASA Agency Branch in Banja Luka.
The award “EDITOR OF 2016” according to the decision of the collegium was awarded to Berin Ekmečić, the award “JOURNALISTOF 2016” was awarded to Ines Sandžaktarević, and “CORRESPONDENT OF 2016” it was Milica Adamović.
The award “EDITOR OF 2017” was awarded to Ulvija Ramusović, the award “JOURNALIST OF 2017” was awarded to Selma Pušina, and “CORESPONDENT OF 2017” is Milica Adamović.
The award “EDITOR OF 2018” was awarded to Asim Čelebić, the award “JOURNALIST OF 2018.” was awarded to Ajsela Mekić, and “CORRESPONDENT OF 2018.” is Milica Okilj.
The award “EDITOR 2019” was awarded to Berin Ekmečić, the award “JOURNALIST OF 2019” was won by Neđad Husković, and “CORRESPONDENT OF 2019” is Milica Okilj.
The award “EDITOR OF 2020” was awarded to Berin Ekmečić, the award “JOURNALIST OF 2020” was awarded to Amrudin Gadžo, and “CORESPONDENT OF 2020.” is Milica Okilj.
The award “EDITOR OF 2021” was awarded to Berin Ekmečić, the award “JOURNALIST OF 2021.” Advija Hrelja was awarded, and “CORRESPONDENT OF 2021” was awarded to Adela Gosto.
