SARAJEVO, JANUARY 5 (ONASA) – At this year’s first formal session, the board of the ONASA Agency awarded the prestigious award “EDITOR OF YEAR 2023” to LAMIJA SILAJDŽIĆ, the award “JOURNALIST OF YEAR 2023” went to AZIJADA HIDIĆ, while MILICA OKILJ received the award “CORRESPONDENT OF YEAR 2023“.
According to the Board’s decision, the award “EDITOR OF YEAR 2023” was awarded to Lamija Silajdžić for exceptional editorial engagement.
Lamija Silajdžić was born on June 10, 1985 in Sarajevo, and has been a journalist for many years.
In 2009, she graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo, Department of Journalism and earned the title of Graduate Journalist.
She graduated from MITT in Canada, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
She is currently preparing the defense of his master’s thesis at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Sarajevo.
She actively speaks English and Spanish.
She worked at UNIS Institute Sarajevo, EUFOR Base Butmir, Municipality Centar Sarajevo, MEDIA Center, Organization of Women for Women Sarajevo.
She was a Councilwoman in the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo from 2012 to 2016.
In 2023, she successfully performed all journalistic tasks in the English Service.
According to the Board’s decision, the award “JOURNALIST OF YEAR 2023” was awarded to Azijada Hidić for exceptional journalistic involvement.
Azijada Hidić was born on November 9, 2001 in Sarajevo.
She is studying at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Sarajevo, Department of Civil Engineering.
She actively speaks English.
She was a member of the Senior National Team of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Karate, and is actively involved in sports.
She started working at the Independent News Agency ONASA in 2022.
During 2023, she successfully performed all journalistic tasks in the Bosnian and English service.
According to the Board’s decision, the award “CORRESPONDENT OF YEAR 2023” was awarded to Milica Okilj for exceptional journalistic involvement.
Milica Okilj was born on August 31, 1993 in Drvar.
She is a graduate student of the fourth year of journalism and communication studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Banja Luka.
During 2023, she successfully performed all journalistic duties.
She reported on the work of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, and on all important events from the Banja Luka area.
He has been working at the ONASA Agency since 2016.
