That agency issued a warning about a possible emergency hydrological situation after the observed parameters.
An increase in the water level is forecast due to new rainfall in the middle and lower part of the Bosna river basin. It is expected to reach the level of notification about possible floods at hydrological stations in the middle and lower part of the Bosna river basin in FBiH.
– Flash floods are possible in the basins of the rivers Krivaja, Spreča, Usora, Tinja and Una and Sana in FBiH.
An extraordinary hydrological situation is forecast for the next three days, especially in the area of: the middle and lower part of the Bosna river basin and the Una and Sana river basins.

“We suggest the competent institutions to monitor the situation on the ground and act in accordance with their authorizations, and we recommend increased caution to the services that implement measures and activities for the protection and rescue of people and material goods.” the agency said.
The agency added that the competent civil protection services should warn the population living in areas along rivers that do not have protective water facilities built, that it is dangerous for them to approach the shores in view of the possible increase in the depth and speed of the water in the rivers, and to give them timely notification with instructions and guidelines, on the basis of which the population would be able (before the eventual occurrence of floods) to implement self-protection measures in order to reduce and prevent possible damages from the harmful effects of floods on them and their material possessions.
The Hydrometeorological Institute of Republic of Srpska also issued a warning, which announced that in the period from May 30 to June 6, local disasters with stronger showers and thunderstorms are expected in the entire territory of Republic of Srpska.
As stated in the Supplementary Meteorological and Hydrological Bulletin, the unstable weather that lasts for most of May will continue in the coming days in the entire region of the Western Balkans.

It will be unstable during the entire period, and on Tuesday, May 30, in the afternoon and evening and on Wednesday, May 31, stronger storms and locally heavier precipitation are expected in the north and northeast – the bulletin states.
According to them, due to the local nature of showers, it is not possible to know in advance the exact location of the occurrence of heavy rainfall, and the amount of rainfall will vary considerably.
