HNS: REQUEST TO CROATIA INDICATOR WHO MANAGES CERTAIN INSTITUTIONS OF BIH

MOSTAR, AUGUST 8 (ONASA) – The Department for Veterans of the Croatian National Parliament (HNS) assessed the request sent to the Republic of Croatia against HV generals and commanders as shameful, stating that it is an indicator of who manages certain BiH institutions.
“The news that appeared in public and was confirmed by the Ministry of Justice and Administration of the Republic of Croatia on the request sent from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Croatia for the prosecution of Croatian generals and commanders is a futile, unfounded request with a political background by those who want full control of the judiciary. “BiH, but also attempts to expose facts and historical revisionism. This shameful request has no basis, especially not for prosecuting anyone in the context of the ‘Flash’ operation which liberated the territory of the Republic of Croatia.”, the HNS Veterans Department said today.
According to the statement, this is a classic attempt to abuse the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, “and now we can see in practical terms who is behind it and how the HV and the HVO want to be criminalized, which Bosniak parastructures have been trying for two decades. in various ways”.
There are two key moments in which such a request is made, point out the Department for Veterans.
“First, they want to continue criminalizing the role of the HVO for its immense role in freeing itself from aggressors. After Knin and all parts of the Republic of Croatia, ‘Storm’ should be especially celebrated in Sarajevo because the massacre and suffering in Bihac were prevented. Others, after dismissals and unprecedented pressure on the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the entire BiH judiciary, there is obviously a political domination of judicial institutions and now someone wants to send a political message internally.”, the statement reads.
The Croatian National Assembly of BiH rejects any attempts to manipulate historical facts for political purposes, malicious revisions of the honorable role of the HV and HVO, and any further futile attempts at political persecution.
“We also request that the same efforts and energy invested in such attempts be directed at uncovering all still unsolved crimes committed by the BiH Army, whose war criminals still roam freely in Bosnia and Herzegovina.”, the statement said.
